A Message to Recruiters: Figma≠UX

In early November I saw a post from a UX designer on LinkedIn who was raging about recruiters. Not just a few, but all of them, and how they were doing nothing but wasting his time. While his frustration is valid, the sweeping generalization didn’t sit right with me. At the same time, I was contacted for the umpteenth time by a recruiter who was looking for “someone who knows Figma”…for a copywriting role. There are too many generalizations going on, and the losers are everyone. This post is my attempt to educate more and gripe less.
